WELCOME TO THE ON-LINE HOME OF TEDxNEWYORK.

TEDxNewYork is held at GreyNY, 200 Fifth Avenue. We meet every week (mostly) on Fridays now and (mostly) from 1-2pm. We are open to the public. If you want to attend, send a note to admin@tedxnewyork.com (that's Don McKinney & Chel O'Reilly) with your vitals. Our biggest limitation is space so give us plenty of notice and we'll do our best to accommodate. Hope to see you at one of our events soon.

Session 3: ReConnect- Yann Arthus-Bertrand

If you haven't seen Yann's work, do it.

"My work is to show our impact on our planet." -Yann

"We don't want to believe what we know."

Hey friends: his next show is in Battery Park. Field trip! Then we go out for drinks to mourn the tragic changes in the landscape that he photographs. That's so New York. How about we motivate to do something about it? That's so TED.

BTW- The footage from the 6 Billion Others project is gorgeous. I toured it before, one could get lost in it..

He finished his talk with "I would like to say something to the 4,700th baby who was born since the beginning of this talk. Thank you. I love you."
